Shubhangi is a Project Associate with the Climate Program at World Resources Institute, India. Her work focuses on exploring carbon markets as a mechanism for pricing carbon in the Indian context, long-term strategy studies and corporate sustainability.
Before joining World Resources Institute, India, Shubhangi worked as a Business Analyst with the Confederation of Danish Industry, ​India, where she worked on market research projects for Danish companies in the renewable energy and food sector looking to enter the Indian market.
Shubhangi holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Statistics from St Xavier’s College, Mumbai. She also spent a year at Paris School of International Affairs, Sciences Po, Paris where she studied Environmental Policy and International Development.
Currently based in Mumbai, Shubhangi is ​passionate about exploring sustainable living and loves ​training in MMA and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, backpacking, the mountains, ​​and a good cup of coffee.
