Dr Iris Koileo

Iris is a faculty of Malayalam literature. She retired as an Associate Professor (and HoD) from Dept. of Malayalam & Mass communication, St Xavier’s College, Thumba, Thiruvananthapuram. She worked there for 34 years (1981- 2015). Later she worked as the Principal of Emmanuel Arts & Science College, Vazhichal, Thiruvananthapuram. Presently Iris is a writer and translator (both in literature and in sociology). She writes on environmental issues, threats to indigenous communities, and blue economy etc.
